HOUSTON – A Harris County man alleges his jaw was broken during a procedure to remove a tooth.

Peter Keuter filed a complaint on May 15 in the Harris County District Court against Ayham Nahhas DDS and Wave Dental PLLC alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on May 16, 2016, he sought defendants' services to remove a wisdom tooth. He alleges the defendant did not X-ray his jaw prior to the procedure and as a result, his jaw was broken.

The plaintiff holds Nahhas and Wave Dental PLLC responsible because the defendants allegedly sent plaintiff home without informing plaintiff that his jaw was broken and failed to take X-rays prior to removing the tooth.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks actual and compensatory damages, with interest, and all other relief to which he is entitled. He is represented by Richard G. Paxton of Paxton Law Firm in Houston.
