According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on June 1, 2016, her residence was totally destroyed when a natural gas leak caused an explosion. The plaintiff holds Centerpoint Energy Inc. responsible because she claims the defendant's gross negligence caused the incident.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks all damages, costs of court, pre- and post-judgment interest and all other relief to which she is entitled. She is represented by Elijah Gooden III of The Law Office Elijah Gooden III in Houston.
