HOUSTON – A Harris County woman alleges she was terminated from her job because of her complaints of discriminatory treatment.

Lydia Stough filed a complaint on May 18 in the Harris County District Court against Production Testing Services Inc. alleging gender discrimination.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that during her tenure with defendant from June 2015 until her termination on May 31, 2016, she experienced gender-based discrimination, harassment and retaliation. She alleges she was not paid the salary she was promised and was terminated for the fabricated reason of undue absences.

The plaintiff holds Production Testing Services Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly treated her less favorably than other employees outside her protected class and retaliated against her for her complaints of the disparate treatment.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks reinstatement, all damages suffered and all legal fees. She is represented by Jakki A. Hansen of The Hansen Law Firm PC in Houston.
