Man alleges Houston Leisure RV failed to remove dog that injured him

HOUSTON – A man alleges he was injured by a dog at an RV park he alleges the park's owners had previously received complaints about.

Mitchell Chambers filed a complaint on May 24 in the Harris County District Court against Houston Leisure RV LP alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on April 29, he was attacked by a dog owned by a resident at the defendant's RV park in Highlands. The suit states the defendant had received multiple complaints from residents about the dog and its owner but ignored them.

The plaintiff alleges he suffered injuries that resulted in pain and suffering, medical expenses, disfigurement, and other economic and non-economic damages.

The plaintiff holds Houston Leisure RV LP responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to warn others about the dog, remove and or restrain the dog or evict the dog's owner.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks monetary relief of more than $200,000 but less than $1 million and such other and further relief to which plaintiff is entitled. The plaintiff is represented by Patrick O'Hara of O'Hara Law Firm in Houston.
