HOLLAND & KNIGHT: Dallas Litigators Gemma Galeoto and Nicholas Sarokhanian Named Best Lawyers Under 40 by D Magazine

Holland & Knight issued the following announcement on Jan. 9.

Two Holland & Knight litigators, Associate Gemma Galeoto and Partner Nicholas Sarokhanian, have been recognized among the Best Lawyers Under 40 by D Magazine in its second annual listing. D Magazine is an award-winning publication serving the leaders and influencers of Dallas.

A trial attorney licensed in four states, Ms. Galeoto assists clients in complex business disputes in a variety of industries, focusing on financial institutions litigation, fraudulent transfer allegations, Texas Citizens Participation Act “Anti-SLAPP” litigation, employment disputes and trade secret concerns. Ms. Galeoto has obtained many successful trial verdicts for her clients and has repeatedly prevailed in federal and state appellate courts.

Ms. Galeoto is a leader within the Dallas Bar Association, Dallas Association of Young Lawyers, and the Dallas Women Lawyers Association, and serves as a Dallas CASA for foster children. She has been named as a Rising Star by Texas Super Lawyers magazine for the past five years. This is the second consecutive year that Ms. Galeoto has been named to D Magazine’s Best Lawyers Under 40 list.

Mr. Sarokhanian is also a trial attorney with jury trial success and a strong track record before courts and arbitration panels in complex business, healthcare, product liability, trade secret and intellectual property and franchise litigation. He has extensive trial and arbitration experience, having litigated more than a dozen trials or arbitrations to verdict, judgment or final award – often as first or second chair – before juries, judges and arbitrators. Mr. Sarokhanian represents clients in a variety of industries, with a particular focus in the healthcare and life sciences, financial services and technology sectors.
