Greenberg Traurig LLP issued the following announcement on May 1.
Audrey Chang, an of counsel in the Houston office of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, has been selected to Houston Business Journal’s 2019 list of 40 Under 40 young professionals. Chang is one of just two lawyers named to this year’s list of the best and brightest in Houston business.
“Audrey is a rock star—simply put,” said Kent Newsome, Chair of the firm’s Texas Real Estate Practice and Co-Managing Shareholder of the Houston office. “This recognition is a testament to her exceptional talent as a lawyer, and we congratulate Audrey on this well-deserved honor.”
Chang is a member of Greenberg Traurig’s Finance Practice and Energy & Natural Resources Practice. She has regularly earned recognition from Super Lawyers magazine on its Texas Rising Stars list. Earlier this year, she also received The Asian Pacific Interest Section (APIS) Champion of Diversity award for her work in serving the needs of all communities in the Greater Houston Area. Audrey’s other community involvement includes sitting on the Executive Committee of the Chinese Community Center, serving as a selected member of Leadership Houston Class XXXIII, and chairing the Asian Leadership Council for the Houston Symphony.
Nominees for the Houston Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 were evaluated by a panel of judges in areas such as leadership, overcoming challenges, and community involvement. This year, journal leadership said it received more than 500 nominations.
