HOUSTON — A guest is suing a group of Humble property owners, alleging she was attacked by their dog.

Brittani Pulsifer filed a complaint July 22 in the Harris County District Court against Stephanie Sanchez, Saul Leyva, and John Doe, alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, Pulsifer was visiting the defendants at 4946 Timber Path Drive, Humble, on  Aug. 16, 2018. The suit states the defendants had a Great Dane that previously had bitten another individual and that they failed to warn the plaintiff of the dog's tendency to attack.

Pulsifer alleges she was put in a room with the Great Dane, which proceeded to attack her and bite her face. The plaintiff says she was bitten near her eye socket as well as in other body parts, which required plastic surgery and extensive medical treatment

Pulsifer seeks trial by jury, more than $1 million in monetary relief, attorney fees, court costs, exemplary damages, interest and all other equitable relief. She is represented by attorneys Danny M. Sheena, Jason P. Scofield and Jula N. Valencia of The Sheena Law Firm in Houston.
