HOUSTON — A worker alleges he suffered severe injuries at an oil field while working with the control equipment and dewatering system.

Marcus N. Waldrop filed a complaint  Dec. 16 in Harris County District Court against EOG Resources Inc., Nabors Industries Inc., BOS Solutions Inc., and Eastwood Oilfield Consulting Services LLC alleging negligence.

Waldrop alleges in his complaint that while working for Eastwood  on April 14, 2020, he was "severely" injured at an oil field located north of Pecos which is owned and operated by EOG while breaking down the solids control equipment and dewatering system. He claims the defendants created a hazardous condition, failed to maintain and control a safe work environment or to properly inspect equipment and materials on the job site and enforce safety regulations.

Waldrop also claims the defendants failed top warn of the dangerous condition, make modifications or repairs and did not properly supervise and inspect employees at the worksite. He alleges as a result of the accident, he suffered impairment, disfigurement, lost earnings and incurred medical, hospital and pharmaceutical expenses.

Waldrop seeks more than $1 million, interest and trial by jury. She is represented by Bryan Harrison, Gina Long and Zona Jones of Harrision Davis Steakley Morrison Jones PC in Waco.
