Alicia Sienne Voltmer and Amanda A. Williams, Labor & Employment Practice attorneys in the Dallas office of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, presented at the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) Dallas-Fort Worth’s Annual In-House Symposium, April 14 at 12:30 p.m. CDT.
Voltmer and Williams will co-present the session titled, “Ethics Lessons from La-La Land.” The session will use ethical issues faced by lawyers portrayed in television and movies to examine both the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct and the American Bar Association Model Rules of Professional Conduct. Both are Board Certified in Labor and Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
The ACC, with more than 60 chapters and networks, is known for promoting the common professional and business interests of in-house counsel.
Voltmer advises clients on day-to-day employment matters, including reductions in force, disciplinary actions, accommodations, hiring, and firing. She also handles client mediations, arbitrations, administrative hearings, and court proceedings involving state and federal employment laws.
Williams represents corporations and other personnel in virtually all phases of employment-related litigation from risk-management through trial and appeal. She regularly handles matters involving employment disputes.
