About Houssiere’s practice
Houssiere has built an extensive litigation practice, particularly in the energy industry. Representing upstream and midstream companies in high-stakes disputes, she has prevailed for her clients in state and federal courts as well as before domestic and international arbitration tribunals.
Houssiere has worked on several high-profile Foreign Corrupt Practices Act cases and has advised clients under investigation by the U.S. Department of Justice, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Commodity Futures Trading Commission and the European Commission.
Houssiere also has significant experience representing companies seeking merger clearance by the DOJ and the European Commission, as part of her antitrust practice.
Houssiere received her B.A., cum laude, from Vanderbilt University and her J.D., cum laude, from Southern Methodist University, where she was a member of the SMU Law Review.
