Key takeaways
Jenny Givens joins BakerHostetler’s Dallas office as a partner in the firm’s Business Practice Group and on the firmwide Healthcare Industry team.
Givens advises on compliance and regulatory healthcare matters, including fraud and abuse, privacy, licensure and enrollment, and a variety of other complex offerings.
Prior to entering private practice, she held in-house compliance positions at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children and City of Hope National Medical Center; before law school, she served as an assistant administrator for a community hospital in Los Angeles.
Givens’ arrival marks BakerHostetler’s second partner addition to the Healthcare Industry team in its Dallas office in the past six months, following Elise Barajas, who joined the firm’s Dallas office late last year.
Why this matters
Givens is the most recent addition to BakerHostetler’s Business Practice Group, which grew tremendously in 2022 with the addition of more than 40 attorneys across the United States. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in the healthcare industry to the firm and will be an immediate asset to the firm and its clients.
Givens’ arrival brings the total number of attorneys in the firm’s Dallas office to 40. The Dallas office opened in 2020 and has quickly grown in terms of both the number of attorneys and clients and the number of practice areas covered by Dallas attorneys.
