Tax attorney Lee Meyercord will speak at an American Law Institute Continuing Legal Education webinar focused on partnership audits. The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is enforcing a new audit regime that treats a partnership as a taxpayer subject to an entity-level tax called an imputed underpayment. Ms. Meyercord will also discuss the best practices and strategies for designating partnership representatives, understanding and modifying the imputed underpayment and navigating the IRS special enforcement regulations.
