Gregory Franklin, a Litigation associate in global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP’s Dallas office, is the Texas Aggie Bar Association’s (TABA) Rising Aggie Lawyer 2023 award recipient. The annual award is given to a single recipient who continues to demonstrate commitment to Texas A&M, the university's core values, and the legal profession.
“There is no doubt that my Texas A&M education helped me develop professionally and personally. The skills and lessons learned within the campus are engrained into my very being,” Franklin said. “I couldn’t be more grateful for this recognition from the Texas Aggie Bar Association and will continue to live out the Aggie core values in my legal career. Gig ‘Em!”
“Gregg is a prime example of a talented and thoughtful attorney that is making a lasting impact through his legal work and community involvement,” Dallas office Managing Shareholder Joseph F. Coniglio said. “We are proud of his efforts and contributions which culminated in this well-deserved recognition.”
Franklin is a Texas A&M graduate of the class of 2003 (B.B.A) and 2017 (J.D.). A proud Aggie, Franklin currently sits on the Texas A&M School of Law’s Alumni Board and the Texas Aggie Bar Association Board. He also has showcased his commitment to the university by creating the Gregory Franklin and Dr. Danielle Franklin Endowed Scholarship in 2018.
The Rising Aggie Lawyer Award recognizes a lawyer that is 40 years of age or younger or has received their first law license within the last 12 years. TABA will honor Franklin at the 24th Annual Conference March 24-25.
Franklin focuses his practice on construction and financial services litigation and assists clients with finding practical and efficient ways to approach problems that threaten their businesses.
