Clark Hill announced that Dallas Member Jadd Masso has been named the firm’s Chief Legal Officer.
Necessitated by growth in recent years, the Chief Legal Officer position is new for Clark Hill. Masso will oversee the office of general counsel and other risk-management functions for the firm, including conflicts clearance and new-client intake.
“Jadd is an outstanding member of the Clark Hill team and we’re thrilled that he has agreed to step into this new position,” said Clark Hill CEO John Hensien. “Given our growth over the past few years, and the evolution of the industry generally, we have established this role to bring an additional level of oversight and leadership to our general counsel office and risk management functions. Jadd will be instrumental in our adoption of best practices and continued compliance with the highest standards of professional ethics.”
Masso began his career with Clark Hill as an associate in 2003 and will continue his appellate practice while taking on new responsibilities as Chief Legal Officer.
“I’m thrilled to be appointed to this leadership position within the firm,” Masso said. “It’s a great opportunity to be the first CLO to establish this role’s significance and oversee many critical firm functions.”
