As office managing partner, Mr. Besen will develop and oversee business plans and operations for the Dallas office while maintaining his national government enforcement and investigations practice advising clients in navigating investigations, civil enforcement actions and criminal proceedings in a wide range of industries.
Regularly recognized by Chambers USA, The Best Lawyers in America® and Super Lawyers, Mr. Besen has developed a national reputation for securing favorable outcomes in criminal prosecutions, congressional investigations, and civil enforcement proceedings pursued by the U.S. Department of Justice, U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and congressional committees such as House Committees on the Judiciary and Homeland Security. Focused on preventing government interventions, he regularly advises clients on compliance policies and internal investigations. Mr. Besen also handles complex civil litigation matters in parallel proceedings related to white-collar criminal matters, including False Claims Act violations, healthcare fraud, securities fraud and commercial bribery matters.
