BEAUMONT - The Ferguson Law Firm has added Jai Cosey as a new attorney. Cosey, a proud native of Memphis, Tennessee, brings a strong academic background to the firm that highlights both her excellence and determination, a press release states.
Cosey holds the distinction of being a graduate of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and has made a significant impact at each stop along the way. She graduated summa cum laude from Mississippi Valley State University where, among other things, she was active in service and leadership activities though Alpha Kappa Alpha, the oldest Greek-letter organization established by African American college-educated women.
From there, Cosey attended Thurgood Marshall School of Law in Houston, Texas. While there, she served as vice-president of the Lois Prestage Chapter of Women of Law and as Chief of Staff to the SBA’s President. Cosey was named to the Dean’s list at both Mississippi Valley State University and at Thurgood Marshall School of Law.
Cosey possesses an unwavering commitment to justice and fairness and is poised to make a significant impact in the legal field and beyond, the press release states.
