Foley partner Kyle Faget, Health Care Practice Group Co-Chair and Chair of the Forum, and partner Monica Chmielewski will be speaking at the upcoming 4th Clinical Trial Agreements Forum on August 29. Ms. Faget will speak on the panel titled “Review CTAs in the Context of Decentralized Trials and Remote Monitoring.” Ms. Faget and Ms. Chmielewski will both speak on the panel titled “Examine Biological Samples Clauses in ICFs and Clinical Trial Agreements.”

The session titled “Review CTAs in the Context of Decentralized Trials and Remote Monitoring” will discuss the challenges of contract language authorizing remote monitoring and assess plans for updating templates for use.

The collection, storage, and use of biological samples in clinical trials are essential for improving medical treatments – and so is ensuring that participants’ rights and privacy are protected while using their samples. “Panel: Examine Biological Samples Clauses in ICFs and Clinical Trial Agreements” will discuss the biological sample clauses in Informed Consent Forms (ICFs) and Clinical Trial Agreements, and clarify the information provided in ICFs regarding sample storage and how long they will be stored.Attendees will hear about the latest trends, best practices, and critical factors impacting the effectiveness and efficiency of your CTAs and gain key insights for structuring CTAs that safeguard clinical data in a constantly evolving ecosystem.
