Reed Smith associate Roswill Mejía has been selected as a finalist for the Texas Minority Counsel Program’s (TMCP) Trailblazer of the Year Award.
The award honors an outside counsel who has promoted diversity within the legal profession through hiring, retention and mentoring of diverse attorneys, and involvement with bar or community activities designed to promote diversity within the legal profession.
Mejía, based in Austin, is a member of the firm’s Life Sciences Health Industry group. She represents hospital systems, medical device manufacturers, pharmaceutical companies, and other health care providers and their affiliates in all stages of complex litigation, dispute resolution, risk management, and external investigations stemming from regulatory and compliance issues.
