AUSTIN – Texans for Lawsuit Reform PAC (TLRPAC) today endorsed Gino Rossini of Dallas for election to Place 11 on the 5th Court of Appeals, which covers Collin, Dallas, Grayson, Hunt, Kaufman and Rockwall counties, a press release states.
“Texas judges make critical decisions every day that impact our families and our freedoms, particularly on our intermediate appellate courts, which are often the last stop for some of the most consequential decisions affecting our state,” TLRPAC General Counsel Lee Parsley said. “Gino Rossini’s extensive civil appellate and litigation background will be critical assets on one of the busiest appellate courts in the state. He is committed to upholding the rule of law and never legislating from the bench. TLRPAC is proud to support him.”
Rossini is vice chair of appellate litigation at Thompson, Coe, Cousins and Irons L.L.P. in Dallas, specializing in civil appeals in Texas state and federal courts. His practice includes appeals and original proceedings, in addition to serving as trial-appellate counsel on pretrial matters, at trial, judgment formation and post-judgment.
Rossini received a bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University and a law degree with honors from The University of Texas School of Law, where he served as articles editor of the Texas Law Review. Following law school, he clerked for U.S. District Judge George P. Kazen.
Rossini is board certified in civil appellate law, and a member of the Dallas Bar Association Appellate Law Section Council, Texas Bar College, and the State Bar of Texas Appellate Law Section and Civil Liberties and Civil Rights Section Council. He is an Eagle Scout, a member of the Great Hearts Irving Academy Advisory Council and a board member of The Pines Catholic Camp.
