HOUSTON - A lawsuit has been brought against Kroger by a woman claiming Coca-Cola product fell on top of her.

Alleging gross negligence, Natalie Harrington filed her suit on Nov. 3 in Harris County District Court, also naming Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages and John Doe as defendants.

According to the lawsuit, Harrington was shopping at a Houston Kroger on Nov. 21, 2022. Prior to her arrival, an employee, Doe, or possibly an onsite vendor (Coca-Cola) had allegedly improperly stacked multiple cases of Coca-Cola products.

“While Plaintiff was shopping, the COCA-COLA product suddenly, violently, and without warning, collapsed on top of the Plaintiff,” the suit states. “Nothing Plaintiff did… caused the incident.”

In addition to exemplary damages, Harrington is suing for past and future medical expenses, lost wages, pain, mental anguish, impairment and disfigurement.

The Houston law firm of Kwok Daniel represents her.
