AUSTIN – Texans for Lawsuit Reform PAC (TLRPAC) today endorsed Jenny Cron for Place 2 on the 13th Court of Appeals, which serves the Corpus Christi and Edinburg areas, a press release states.

“Texas judges make critical decisions every day that impact our families and our freedoms, particularly on our intermediate appellate courts, which are often the last stop for some of the most consequential decisions affecting our state,” TLRPAC General Counsel Lee Parsley said. “Jenny Cron is a native of South Texas whose experience on both the civil and criminal sides of the docket positions her well to serve on this active appellate court. She is committed to serving her community and upholding the rule of law. TLRPAC is proud to endorse her.”

Cron is a civil litigator at Porter, Rogers, Dahlman and Gordon PC. Prior to working in business and commercial litigation, Cron spent 20 years working in the Kleberg and Nueces County Attorney’s offices, where she was a prosecutor and, ultimately, chief of litigation.

Cron is a member of the Corpus Christi Bar Association Board of Directors and the Coastal Bend Women Lawyers Association. She received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin and a law degree from the Texas Tech University Law School.

TLRPAC is the political arm of Texans for Lawsuit Reform (TLR), the largest civil justice reform organization in Texas. TLR is a bipartisan, volunteer-led coalition with 16,300 supporters residing in more than 900 Texas communities and representing 1,255 different businesses, professions and trades.
