Texas Lawyer has honored two Reed Smith partners, Sarah Cummings Stewart and Arturo Muñoz Holguin, as ‘On the Rise’ at its 2023 Texas Legal Awards.
The honors, which are also known as the Texas Lawyer Professional Excellence Awards, recognize exceptional work and achievements across the Texas legal community.
Stewart and Muñoz Holguin were among 27 lawyers named ‘On the Rise’ this year. Honorees are lawyers under the age of 40, ‘who have wielded influence in their practice areas in Texas and beyond.’
Dallas-based partner Stewart is an essential partner in Reed Smith’s Life Sciences Health Industry Group and an MVP in the DFW region’s burgeoning biotech and healthcare sectors. Called “a genuine force on the team,” her colleagues uniformly praise her commitment to client service and creativity in designing innovative solutions.
Houston-based partner Muñoz Holguin is a rising star in Reed Smith’s global Energy and Natural Resources Group and its international arbitration team. He handles high-stakes disputes before courts and arbitration tribunals in Latin America, Europe and the United States, particularly in the energy and commodities space and for players across the entire energy value chain.
