Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP’s Houston office will be honored at the Texas Medical-Legal Partnership (MLP) Coalition Inaugural Membership Meeting & Conference April 12. An MLP is a healthcare delivery model that addresses the health-harming legal needs of patients in hospitals, clinics, and other facilities by embedding legal professionals into health settings as part of the care team. The Coalition is only Texas-based organization in the country that brings together MLPs across the state to share best practices, provide technical support to organizations desiring to develop an MLP and advocate for health-affirming laws and policies supported by evidence-based research.
