Finance & Bankruptcy attorney JakeTorres received the “Estrella” Award as part of the Dallas Hispanic Bar Association’s Noche de Luz Awards program. The annual awards honor individuals who are leaders in the legal profession, highlighting their contributions to the Dallas Fort Worth Latino community.
Torres was selected for his commitment to representing immigrants and tenants facing eviction pro bono. In 2022, he earned “Eviction Attorney of the Year” by the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program.
Torres and his fellow honorees will be presented with their awards during the Noche de Luz Gala on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at the Statler in Dallas.
