Steptoe & Johnson PLLC attorney Brady Ortego was recently elected as a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation.
Election to the Fellows is exclusive to one third of one percent of Texas attorneys. Nomination is based on the contributions to the legal profession and commitment to the community. Once nominees are selected, they must be elected by the Texas Bar Foundation Board of Trustees to receive one of the highest honors that a State Bar of Texas member can receive.
Ortego, a Member in the firm’s San Antonio office, helps lead the firm’s HOA and Condominium team. Ortego works closely with boards of directors and managers of property owners associations of all types guiding them through the ever-changing area of Property Owners Association Law. Ortego also represents residential real estate developers, handling the drafting and guidance related to the creation of communities and property owners’ associations.
The Texas Bar Foundation supports programs that relate to legal assistance for the underserved, the administration of justice, ethics in the legal profession, the encouragement of legal research, publications and forums, and education of the third branch of government.
