Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP expanded its Intellectual Property & Technology and Trademark & Brand Management practices with the addition of Rob LeBlanc as a shareholder in the Dallas office. LeBlanc joins from Haynes Boone, where he practiced for over a decade and served as a partner.

“Greenberg Traurig continues to strategically expand its presence in Texas and beyond, prioritizing our global clients’ needs and adding top legal talent from the world’s leading business markets,” said Richard A. Rosenbaum, Greenberg Traurig Executive Chairman. “Rob’s years of experience have established him as a ‘go-to expert,’ earning the trust of both clients and colleagues.”

LeBlanc advises some of the world’s most valuable and renowned companies, focusing on brand strategy and asset protection. Having advised on matters in virtually every jurisdiction in the world, his experience spans brand creation, selection, protection, expansion, and enforcement. A significant portion of LeBlanc's practice focuses on internet and social media issues. He also has deep experience with UDRP actions to recover disputed domain names on behalf of his clients, as recognized by the ADR Forum in 2025. LeBlanc also has handled thousands of social media takedowns and acquisitions across various platforms, safeguarding his clients' online presence and reputation.

“We are excited to welcome Rob to our Dallas team. His extensive expertise and experience across a range of high-tech industries will be an invaluable asset to both our local and global clients,” stated Joseph F. Coniglio, managing shareholder of Greenberg Traurig’s Dallas office. “Rob’s addition is part of our strategic goal to enhance our Texas team, which also includes the recent addition of Corporate Shareholders Gemma Descoteaux in Dallas and Kurt Lyn in Austin.”

LeBlanc also devotes a significant portion of his time to trademark clearance and pre-launch risk mitigation strategy. He has served as go-to counsel for several of the most high-profile brand launches in the last decade. LeBlanc often works with counsel worldwide to create and implement risk mitigation measures prior to significant brand asset launches, including acquiring marks identified as high risk, filing non-use cancellations, and obtaining consent agreements on behalf of his clients.

“My decision to join Greenberg Traurig was further solidified upon learning about its unmatched global platform, which will provide deeper support to clients and expand my practice,” LeBlanc said. “Additionally, the firm’s stellar reputation both nationally and internationally, client-centric approach, and business model aligns with my passion for intellectual property and partnering with companies that are launching the next generation of creative technology.”

LeBlanc has been recognized by World Trademark Review and Chambers and has been named to the “Rising Star” list by Managing Intellectual Property, the “Ones to Watch” list by Best Lawyers in America, and the “Best Lawyers Under 40” list by D Magazine.

In addition to LeBlanc, the firm’s three offices in Texas have recently added strategically chosen attorneys in core areas, including Shareholders Jera L. Bradshaw (Banking & Financial Services), Gemma Descoteaux (Corporate), Kurt Lyn (Corporate), and Ashley N. Moore (Intellectual Property & Technology). Additional growth is shortly expected across the state.
