Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP further expands its Public Finance & Infrastructure Practice with the addition of Drew Slone as a shareholder in Dallas. Slone joins Greenberg Traurig from Troutman Pepper Locke, where she was a partner in its Public Finance practice.
"At Greenberg Traurig, we thoughtfully hire to ensure alignment with our values, culture, and strategic goals. With Drew, our Dallas office enters an exciting new chapter, strengthening our presence in the public finance and infrastructure practice in Texas," said Richard A. Rosenbaum, Greenberg Traurig Executive Chairman. "Additionally, with Drew, we continue our commitment to developing and retaining top talent in the state, along with the recent additions of Shareholders Gemma Descoteaux, Rob LeBlanc, and Kurt Lyn. We are certain they will make a collective impact on clients, colleagues, and the legal community."
“Welcoming Drew Slone to Greenberg Traurig as a shareholder in our Public Finance & Infrastructure Practice is a significant step in our strategic expansion in Texas,” said Franklin D.R. Jones Jr., co-chair of Greenberg Traurig’s Public Finance & Infrastructure Practice. “Drew’s extensive experience in leveraging special districts and development incentives for master-planned residential and mixed-use communities will greatly enhance our ability to serve developer, underwriter, and issuer clients alike, not only in Texas, but across the United States. Her expertise aligns perfectly with our commitment to providing innovative and effective solutions to our clients’ most complex challenges.”
With over 18 years of experience, Slone’s practice focuses on advising developers, underwriters, and issuers in municipal bond and economic development transactions. She has experience acting on transactions involving governmental capital projects, residential real estate, and utility projects.
Slone has represented cities, underwriters, and developers as bond counsel, acting on over $3 billion in capital financing, and also has acted as underwriter’s counsel in innovative revenue monetization deals.
“I am thrilled to join Greenberg Traurig’s Public Finance Practice, especially at a time when the firm is experiencing such dynamic growth and expansion,” Slone said. “I am excited to work with the leading Public Finance team in Texas, and the firm’s land secured debt financing practice across the nation, and look forward to being part of Greenberg Traurig’s culture of collaboration and excellence.”
Slone’s addition to the Dallas office is aligned with Greenberg Traurig’s focus on building top legal talent in the city and the firm’s strategic ambition to continue to serve clients in Texas and throughout the United States.
