On February 13, 2019, a Texas jury returned a $37.6 million verdict against Honda, finding that the seat belt system in a Honda minivan had a design defect that left a woman paralyzed after the vehicle was involved in a rollover crash.
Abraham Watkins law firm hit with $1M breach of contract suit

HOUSTON – The self-proclaimed “oldest personal injury firm in Texas” was recently sued by a company seeking up to $1 million in damages for breach of contract. Rainbow International Restoration & Cleaning filed suit against Abraham, Watkins, Nichols, Sorrels & Friends on Feb. 16 in Harris County District Court.
