The Southeast Texas Record is back!
The front doors of the San Jacinto building, where the Record office is located, suffered some damage and several offices lost windows. The staff of the Southeast Texas Record is happy to report that as of noon, Tuesday, Sept. 16, it has electric power and Internet capabilities as the area begins recovery from Hurricane Ike. -

Nintendo of America was told last week that it had to stop making its Wii game controllers because the product infringed on the patents of a Texas game designer. Now Nintendo has put up more than $38 million in bonds to keep its popular device on store shelves. -
