AUSTIN – A Texas tort reform group found information in its report all too familiar but it's likely news to the every-day Texan, a spokesperson for the group said during a recent interview.
AUSTIN – On April 4, the Texas House Insurance Committee advanced House Bill 1774, a consumer protection bill that implements what one group is calling “common-sense accountability measures to stop rampant weather-related lawsuit abuse, while preserving the strongest protections in the nation for property insurance consumers.”

AUSTIN - Storm chasing is the new ambulance chasing, according to Texans for Lawsuit Reform, an advocacy group that recently announced its 2017 legislative proposal aimed at ending hailstorm litigation abuse.
Storm-chasing trial lawyers are constantly evolving their tactics.
