Woman says she was injured on amusement ride

An Angelina County woman is suing over claims she was injured on an amusement ride on the premises of Kemah Boardwalk.

Kelleen Lout filed a lawsuit Oct. 22 in Galveston County District Court against Landry's Inc., citing negligence.

According to the complaint, Lout was on an amusement ride on the premises of the defendant's Kemah Boardwalk on June 20, when she was injured and sustained a fractured clavicle. The defendant is accused of negligence for failing to correct or inform the plaintiff of the ride's dangerous condition.

Lout seeks damages, interest and costs of court. She is represented by attorney Jeff Bates of Guidry Bates & Hoyt in Nacogdoches.
