An Oklahoma man is suing a Texas man and company over claims the Oklahoman was injured in an auto collision.

Robert Bentley Emerson, of McIntosh County, Oklahoma, filed a lawsuit Jan. 6, in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas against Omar Aguilar, individually, and English Collision Inc., citing negligence on the part of defendants.

According to the complaint, on or about Jan. 15, 2013, Emerson was driving in Denton, Texas, when Aguilar, driving in the opposite direction, lost control of his vehicle and collided head-on with the plaintiff’s auto. The suit alleges English Collision, for whom Aguilar worked, was negligent to let him drive a vehicle.

Emerson seeks more than $75,000 in damages plus fees. He is represented by attorneys Billy D. Griffin and Jason Reynolds of Griffin Reynolds & Associates in Oklahoma City.
