Plaintiff is a Plano company.

On Aug. 26, 2014, United States Patent No. 8,813,840 (“the ’840 Patent”), entitled “METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR ACCESSING SUBTERRANEAN DEPOSITS FROM THE SURFACE AND TOOLS THEREFOR,” was duly and legally issued by the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Effective Exploration is the assignee and owner of the right, title and interest in the ’840 Patent, including the right to assert all causes of action arising under said patent and the right to any remedies for infringement of it.

The tech in question provides formatting codes to control the look and feel of a document and complex rendering codes to control the addition of material to a document.

NPT is the assignee and owner of the right, title and interest in and to the '485 patent, including the right to assert all causes of action arising under said patent and the right to any remedies for infringement of it.
