Brian Loncar
After building a career representing clients in auto collision personal injury cases, attorney Brian Loncar may be seeking counsel himself after suffering critical injuries in an accident in Dallas.
Loncar, known as the "Strong Arm" in televsion commercials, was injured May 16, the Beaumont Enterprise reported May 20.
Loncar, 47, who has an office in Beaumont, fractured his ribs and pelvis and suffered multiple internal contusions in a collision between a fire truck and the 2008 Bentley he was driving.
He was in serious but stable condition in the intensive care unit at Parkland Memorial Hospital on Monday but was expected to be moved to a regular room today, Cindee Dobbs, director of media relations for the Dallas-based law firm, told the Enterprise.
Dobbs said Loncar is expected to make a full recovery.
According to the article, Loncar, a married father of six, was injured when a fire truck, with its lights flashing and siren wailing, went through a red light and struck Loncar's vehicle on the driver's side.
The accident occurred in the intersection of Lomo Alto Drive and Lemmon Avenue in Oak Lawn, an upscale neighborhood just north of downtown Dallas.
Besides Beaumont and Dallas, Loncar has offices in Tyler, Wichita Falls, El Paso and McAllen,
He is best known for his television commercials advertising his services for car crash victims.
