A Louisiana company claims another corporation has failed to pay for equipment products and services it supplied.
Scott Equipment Co. filed a lawsuit March 19 in Jefferson County District Court against BGI Contractors and A.B. Bernard Jr.
Scott claims it delivered certain equipment products and services to BGI and Bernard and charged them at reasonable market value.
However, BGI and Bernard have not paid for the products or services they received, according to the complaint.
In its complaint, Scott seeks an unspecified judgment, plus attorney's fees, costs, pre- and post-judgment interest and other relief the court deems just.
Steven C. Haley of Moorman, Tate, Moorman, Urquhart and Haley in Brenham will be representing him.
The case has been assigned to Judge Milton Shuffield, 136th District Court.
