A total of three new lawsuits against insurance companies regarding hurricane damage claims were filed in Jefferson County District Court, April 5-9, 2010.
The following complaints were filed:
Clinton and Cassandra Jones of 2042 Rosedale Drive in Port Arthur allege Texas Windstorm Insurance Association denied their claim for roof, water, wind, contents, foundation and structural damages caused to their home after Hurricane Ike struck on Sept. 13, 2008. The Jones will be represented by Michael R. Ramsey of The Mostyn Law Firm in Beaumont. Jefferson County District Court case number: A186-450.
Rosie Piert of 1566 Emile St. in Beaumont alleges Capitol County Mutual Fire Insurance Company denied her claim for roof, water, wind, foundation and structural damages caused to her property after Hurricane Ike struck on Sept. 13, 2008. Piert will be represented by Gregory F. Cox of The Mostyn Law Firm in Beaumont. Jefferson County District Court case number: E186-479.
Vanessa and Napoleon Williams of 2230 Hazel St. in Beaumont allege Texas Windstorm Insurance Association denied their claim for roof, water, wind, contents, foundation and structural damages caused to their home after Hurricane Ike struck on Sept. 13, 2008. The Williams will be represented by Gregory F. Cox of The Mostyn Law Firm in Beaumont. Jefferson County District Court case number: D186-451.
