Galveston County resident sues Vidor man for auto collision

Jack Castro Jr., a Galveston County resident, is suing Robert Wilson, who resides in Vidor, for driving the wrong way and "smashing" into his vehicle.

The suit was filed April 20 in Orange County District Court.

Court papers show that on March 6, 2009, Castro was traveling on F.M. 105 in Orange County when Wilson, who was driving his vehicle in the opposite direction, "crossed over the center line" while driving the wrong way and "smashed his vehicle into the front of plaintiff's."

Castro alleges Wilson negligently failed to adhere to traffic laws and drive in a safe manner.

He is suing for past and future medical expenses, mental anguish and lost wages, plus all court costs.

He is represented by attorney Eric Nielsen.

The case has been assigned to Judge Buddy Hahn, 260th Judicial District.
