GALVESTON - A railroad worker is suing BNSF Railway Co. over injuries he reportedly sustained on the job.
Michael Daniel Anderson claims his employer's failure to maintain the ground conditions at its premises in Galveston County led to injuries of his left ankle, left leg and other parts of his body on March 20.
"The defendant's negligent acts or omissions violated its safety rules and industry standards," the original petition filed May 14 in Galveston County District Court states.
Anderson claims to have been inflicted with pain and suffering, mental anguish, and disfigurement as a result of his injuries.
Consequently, he seeks unspecified monetary damages and a jury trial.
Youngdahl & Citti PC is representing the plaintiff.
The case has been assigned to Galveston County 122nd District Court Judge John Ellisor.
