Hardin County resident Dorothy Yount has filed suit in Orange County against Jefferson County resident Jeffery Crawford for allegedly causing an automobile collision.
According to the complaint filed on June 29 in Orange County District Court, Yount and Crawford were in an auto collision on July 18, 2008.
However, the suit does not state how or where the incident occurred.
The suit only accuses Crawford of negligently failing to keep a proper lookout and speeding.
Yount is suing for past and future medical expenses, mental anguish and lost wages.
She is represented by Beaumont attorney Adam Terrell of the Weller, Green, Toups & Terrell law firm.
The case has been assigned to Judge Buddy Hahn, 260th Judicial District.
