A Jefferson County corporation has filed suit against the Beaumont company that it claims failed to pay it more than $9,000 for services it provided.
Advanced Staffing claims it provided services to defendant Mabry Acquisition Co. and Mabry Castings and is owed $9,660. In addition, interest of $518.67 has accrued on the account, according to the complaint filed Nov. 9 in Jefferson County District Court.
Despite Advanced Staffing's demands, Mabry Castings has refused to pay the money, the suit states.
In its complaint, Advanced Staffing is seeking actual and consequential damages, plus attorney's fees, interest, costs and other relief the court deems just.
It will be represented by John S. Morgan of Beaumont.
The case has been assigned to Judge Bob Wortham, 58th District Court.
