An Orange County woman has filed suit against the driver who she claims rear-ended her.
Peggy Hall claims she was driving in the 3800 block of the Eastex Freeway when defendant Donovan Colbert failed to control his speed and slammed into the rear of Hall's vehicle.
Because of the collision, Hall sustained severe neck, chest and shoulder pain and incurred medical costs, according to the complaint filed Nov. 10 in Jefferson County District Court.
In addition, Hall lost her earnings and her earning capacity, sustained physical impairment, suffered physical pain and mental anguish and incurred property damages, the suit states.
Colbert negligently failed to keep a proper lookout, failed to timely apply his brakes and failed to control his speed, the complaint says.
In her complaint, Hall is seeking an unspecified judgment, plus interest, costs and other relief the court deems just.
