Senior Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center is seeking to recover more than $22,000 from Port Arthur resident Ernest Neveaux.
Senior Rehabilitation filed suit against Neveaux on Nov. 10 in Jefferson County District Court.
According to the suit, Senior Rehabilitation had an agreement with Neveaux. The suit does not state the terms of the agreement or how the defendant was involved with the plaintiff.
"Decedent defaulted in paying the outstanding amount as per the agreement," the suit states. "There is currently due the sum of $22,885, plus accrued interest as provided for in the agreement. Plaintiff is entitled to receive all money due under its terms."
In addition to actual damages, Senior Rehabilitation is also seeking to recover attorney's fees.
The company is represented by the Law Office of Paul A. Romano, located in Victoria.
Judge Bob Wortham, 58th District Court, has been assigned to the case.
