A Jefferson County couple claims three companies breached an easement agreement on their land.
Roy L. and Judith D. Breaux claim they own slightly more than 49 acres of land in Jefferson County.
Claiming they were under threat of condemnation when they entered into an easement agreement with defendants TE Products Pipeline Co., HSC Pipeline Partnership and Troy Construction.
However, the defendants have not abided by the easement agreement, according to the complaint filed Jan. 18 in Jefferson County District Court.
The Breauxs allege trespass, breach of agreement, negligence and nuisance against the defendants.
In their complaint, the Breauxs are seeking a declaration as to the easement and right-of-way agreements, plus actual, prospective and exemplary damages, costs and other relief the court deems just.
