A Texas corporation has filed suit against the seven defendants that it claims owe more than $190,000 for products they rented.
Carousel Specialty Products claim defendant Timberwolf arranged for Carousel to provide equipment, materials, machinery and supplies needed to drill a well.
According to the company website, Carousel is a supplier of specialty additives and performance products to chemical manufacturers and chemical service companies.
The well is owned by remaining defendants Kent Singleton, Sue Ellen Whittington, David Reeves, Breitling Oil and Gas Corp., Santana Energy Services and Helmerich and Payne, according to the complaint filed Jan. 18 in Jefferson County District Court.
Although Carousel provided Timberwolf with the equipment, Timberwolf failed to pay the $192,619.82 for the machinery, the suit states.
Since Timberwolf's failure to reimburse Carousel for the equipment, Carousel has perfected a mineral lien on the property, the complaint says.
Now, Carousel is seeking foreclosure on the lien. In addition, it is seeking the money it says it is owed, plus pre- and post-judgment interest, attorneys' fees, costs and other relief the court deems just.
