A Jefferson County man has filed suit against three individuals, alleging they are all responsible for causing an automobile collision in September.
Ray Turnipseed Jr. filed his suit against Eric Thibodeaux, Heather Thibodeaux and Katherine Aguillard on Feb. 9 in Jefferson County District Court.
Court records show that on Sept. 28, Turnipseed was driving south on U.S. 69 when Eric Thibodeaux, driving a vehicle owned by Heather Thibodeaux and insured by Aguillard, changed lanes and struck his vehicle.
The suit accuses Eric of negligently failing to keep a proper lookout and the other two defendants of negligent entrustment.
The plaintiff is suing for his alleged past and future medical expenses, mental anguish, pain, impairment, disfigurement and lost wages, plus all court costs.
James Payne of the Beaumont law firm Provost Umphrey represents him.
Judge Donald Floyd, 172nd District Court, has been assigned to the case.
