Beaumont resident Sabrina Batten is suing Groves resident Aaron Achee for allegedly rear-ending her two years ago.
The suit was filed Feb. 24 in Jefferson County District Court. David Achee is also named as a defendant.
According to the petition, on March 23, 2009, Batten was traveling on State Highway 347 in Port Arthur when Aaron, driving a vehicle ensured by David, failed to control his speed and slammed into the rear of her vehicle.
In her suit, Batten alleges Aaron negligently failed to keep a proper lookout and that David negligently entrusted him with the vehicle.
The plaintiff is suing for her alleged past and future medical expenses, mental anguish, pain, impairment, disfigurement and lost wages, plus all court costs.
Beaumont attorney Jonathan Juhan represents her.
Judge Gary Sanderson, 6oth District Court, has been assigned to the case.
