Seeking to recover more than $18,000 on a delinquent account, Wholesale Electric Supply of Houston has filed suit against US General Contractors.
The suit was filed May 17 in Jefferson County District Court.
According to the lawsuit, US General Contractors purchased goods from the plaintiff and owes the company $18,393.12.
"Defendant US General Contractors promised to pay this account when the same became due but has failed to do so," the suit states, adding that the defendant breached its contract.
The plaintiff is suing for actual damages and attorney's fees.
Beaumont attorney Daniel Clayton represents the plaintiff.
Judge Bob Wortham, 58th District Court, has been assigned to the case.
