Beaumont woman sues over rear-end collision

Tina Taylor has filed suit against fellow Beaumont resident John Boss for rear-ending her vehicle nearly two years ago.

The suit was filed Oct. 7 in Jefferson County District Court.

According to the lawsuit, on Nov. 20, 2009, Taylor was traveling on E. Lucas Drive and had stopped behind a vehicle attempting to make a left turn when Boss rear-ended her, forcing her into the vehicle in front of her.

The suit alleges the defendant negligently failed to keep a proper lookout, apply his brakes in a timely manner and failed to control his rate of speed.

The plaintiff is suing for her alleged past and future medical expenses, mental anguish, pain, impairment, disfigurement and lost wages, plus all court costs.

Beaumont attorney Jonathan Juhan represents her.

Judge Gary Sanderson, 6oth District Court, is assigned to the case.
