Harris County man sues over multi-car crash

A Harris County man claims he incurred medical costs after a driver struck his vehicle.

Jose Oscar Aguirre filed a lawsuit Oct. 20 in Jefferson County District Court against Ronaldo Chavez and Jeffrey Henry.

In his complaint, Aguirre claims he was involved in a multi-vehicular collision with Chavez and Henry.

Aguirre does not specify how the accident occurred, but blames the defendants for causing it, saying they negligently failed to keep a safe distance between vehicles.

Because of the accident, Aguirre experienced physical pain, mental anguish and suffering and lost his wages and his earning capacity, the suit states. He also sustained physical impairment, the complaint says.

In his complaint, Aguirre seeks an unspecified judgment, plus costs, pre- and post-judgment interest at the legal rate and other relief the court deems just.

Scott C. Lannie of the Law Offices of Scott C. Lannie in Baytown will be representing him.

Judge Gary Sanderson, 60th District Court, has been assigned to the case.
