Mom says daughter struck while walking, sues driver

A Jefferson County woman has filed suit against the driver who she claims struck her minor daughter as the girl walked down the street.

Stacy Poole claims defendant Arlen Rouly struck her daughter, Kylie Poole, as Kylie was walking near the street on Aug. 10.

Stacy Poole does not specify where or how the incident occurred, but does say her daughter incurred medical costs because of it. Kylie Poole also experienced physical pain, mental anguish, physical impairment and disfigurement, according to the complaint filed Oct. 20 in Jefferson County District Court.

In her complaint, Stacy Poole is seeking an unspecified judgment, plus costs, pre- and post-judgment interest and other relief the court deems just.

Stacy Poole will be appearing pro se.

Judge Donald Floyd, 172nd District Court, has been assigned to the case.
